Doświadczony dydaktyk i organizator kursów oraz szkoleń dla uczestników z Europy, Bliskiego Wschodu i Azji Środkowej w zakresie chorób zakaźnych, szczepień, zagrożeń zdrowotnych związanych z masową migracją, zarządzania kryzysowego, epidemiologii i onkologii – szczególnie onkologii geriatrycznej. Współpracownik Głównego Inspektora Sanitarnego przy zabezpieczeniu medycznym wydarzeń masowych, m.in. EURO 2012, Szczytu NATO w Warszawie (2016) i wizyty papieża Franciszka w Polsce (2016).
Autor i współautor ponad 50 publikacji, monografii i podręczników z zakresu epidemiologii, chorób zakaźnych i bioterroryzmu.

Internist, oncologist, epidemiologist, Professor at the National Centre for Nuclear Research, and Director of the Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration with the Warmia and Mazury Oncology Centre in Olsztyn. Regional Consultant in Clinical Oncology for the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
Long-standing member of NATO expert groups on Military Health Protection, Preventive Medicine, and the Biomedical Advisory Committee (BioMedAC). Collaborator of the U.S. Department of Defense Global Emerging Infections Surveillance (GEIS) programme. Principal investigator of research and development projects for DARPA, NATO, the European Commission and the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR).
Experienced academic teacher and trainer, organiser of numerous courses and workshops across Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, covering infectious diseases (emerging and deliberate), vaccination, health risks related to mass migration, crisis management during epidemics, disasters and bioterrorist attacks, as well as oncology, with a focus on geriatric oncology. Advisor to the Chief Sanitary Inspector in Poland on bioterrorism and public health threats, involved in medical security planning for major events such as UEFA EURO 2012, the NATO Summit in Warsaw (2016) and the Papal visit to Poland (2016).
Author and co-author of over 50 publications, monographs and textbooks on epidemiology, particularly infectious diseases and bioterrorism.
