Jadwiga Jośko-Ochojska – lekarz chorób wewnętrznych, neurofizjolog i specjalista zdrowia publicznego. Przez 20 lat kierowała Katedrą i Zakładem Medycyny i Epidemiologii Środowiskowej w Śląskim Uniwersytecie Medycznym. Jej zainteresowania naukowe koncentrują się na medycznych aspektach stresu, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem jego wpływu na ośrodkowy układ nerwowy i układ immunologiczny.
Jako epidemiolog analizuje także społeczne skutki stresu, w tym epigenetyczne dziedziczenie skutków traumy. Autorka licznych publikacji i wystąpień, w których popularyzuje najnowsze odkrycia światowej medycyny, łącząc je z praktycznymi wskazówkami dotyczącymi profilaktyki i terapii.
Jadwiga Jośko-Ochojska – internal medicine physician, neurophysiologist and public health specialist. For 20 years, she headed the Department of Environmental Medicine and Epidemiology at the Medical University of Silesia. Her scientific interests focus on the medical aspects of stress, with particular emphasis on its impact on the central nervous system and the immune system.
As an epidemiologist, she also analyses the social effects of stress, including the epigenetic inheritance of trauma. She is the author of numerous publications and presentations in which she popularises the latest discoveries in global medicine, combining them with practical advice on prevention and therapy.
